The 4 big skills at Pakenham Library is designed to provide those attending with a greater understanding of how they can take greater control over the outcome of their negotiations by using the 4 big skills.
What are the 4 Big Skills?
The 4 big skills help you to deal with conflict and disputes at home and at work.
- Learn how to diffuse conflict before it escalates and without losing your voice
- Find out how you can stop making things worse by using the BIFF response
- Understand your rights and responsibilities when you have a dispute
- Understand Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) What is it? Where do you get it?
Who is the presenter?
Joanne Law, is a Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner who trains dispute resolution professionals through Mediation Institute and co-ordinates family law dispute resolution services as the co-founder of the not-for-profit Interact Support. Joanne will share proven strategies to help you to enjoy a more peaceful family life and deal with people problems at work.
The event is part of the Australian Mediation Awareness Week 2019 #AuMAW2019 and is designed to raise community awareness of Mediation and other forms of Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR)
